Ariya's Area...

Ari continues to leap forward at a staggering rate! Her vocabulary has really taken off... for example, she thinks hair is called OW and French Fries are called HOT... three guesses why, LOL. She also has Pizza, Popeye, Bye Bye, Ni Night, and Ba Ba down. She calls our neighbor La La, Sylver is EEEEYA, Talyn is still Talyn! clear as day when she feels like it and Bub Bub when she doesn't. Trinity gets hugs (aaaa-waaaa) and mooches more than all of us combined. MINE has come out this week, as well. What she can't communicate in words she is consistantly doing in signs -More, All Done and Eat. We are working on Book and Drink this week.
Gramma is here and will be taking Trin and Sylver to Florida with her for ten days on Tuesday! When Trin comes back with Aunt Angel, Sylver will be attending horse camp in Florida. Talyn will be flying to Florida with Aunt Angel to spend the last two weeks in July with Sylver, Gramma and Poppa. Trin and Talyn will go to our church's summer kids club the week Aunt Angel is here and I will be doing the photography for it again. When Talyn leaves, Trin will be going to Praise Dance camp for a week! So all in all a SUPER BUSY month coming up!

Sylver....

I am going to put this montage on our family room wall as it seems to catch just a few of the many complexities that make up my eldest daughter. I wasn't going for this particular effect on purpose, just playing with light and camera settings. But, I actually really like the "feel" of them. Dreamy, whimsical, soft, maybe a little melancholy.... all seem appropriate, somehow. And, seriously, isn't she exquisite? She looks SO much like my mom! We plan on locking her away in a tall tower as soon as possible (Sylver, I mean, not mom!).

Trinity...

has a phenomenal imagination. She makes my little pony villages around her treehouse in living room and will play with them for hours. That orange striped box in the picture (click on it to see it bigger) has been a cave, a boat, a hat and the cat scratching pads that where in it became the pony's airplane. I love to sit near by, pretend to read a book and listen to her spin her tales in her imaginary world. She has a really sharp sense of humor and that comes out in her play. She is pretty darn cute, too! She is losing the baby look more every day and really lengthening out. She is starting to look less like a preschooler and more like a kid... SIGH...I don't recall giving her permission to do that.

Shameless Child Bragging Over.

For Now ;)

Reason #237 to Pick Up Your Dirty Laundry...

Tonight while I was downstairs I heard a blood curling baby scream coming from upstairs... it was of the "I bumped my head" variety, not the "I am gushing blood" variety (yes, I really can tell the difference- it's all in the pitch, LOL). I heard Jesse go running, so I figured it was under control. Then, I heard him laughing so hard he could barely talk. Ari's latest skill is to try to dress herself. She uses diapers (clean), blankets (mostly clean) and, now, Daddy's Boxers (ummm, Not Clean). And as if that wasn't bad enough, she got her head STUCK IN THEM. So, no, she didn't bump her head, she was STUCK IN DIRTY DADDY UNDERWEAR and was, understandably, horrified. Even her little baby mind knew, This is Wrong, SO. VERY. WRONG.

My poor poor baby. I better start saving for the therapy that is going to require right now.

Life is busy, never boring :)

Some Blessings to Celebrate!

I am going to be an aunt!!

Again.

and

Again.

Both Cori, my baby sister-ACK!!,  and Brandi, my super awesome sister-in-law, have announced their pregnancies.

This is Cori's first with her husband, Mike, and they are due on black Friday! No shopping this year, sweetie {{hugs}}.

Brandi and Josh have our little Krynnies already, moochies cutie! They will be welcoming the newest little bean at the end of January! Of course, if Krynnie's prediction is correct, Josh and Brandi are in for a BIG surprise at Chuckie Cheese!

I am predicting boys for both and since I am ALWAYS wrong wrong wrong, it's going to be girls for both of you, LOL. Poor Talyn and Caleb NEED some testosterone around here though! Speaking of Caleb, the video of him eating applesauce had us laughing our heads off! He is SO priceless. We fall in love a little more with every picture and video.

We love you guys SO much and are just thrilled for you. We can't wait to meet our newest family members.

Remember, my sweet sisters, to wear sunscreen (LOL, is it just me or is that song on every 15 minutes?!).  Honestly though, I want to tell you that this season is so incredibly short and it passes in the blink of an eye. Stop for a moment every day and admire the small details that God has woven together so carefully and lovingly in your life. Store them away in your heart. In the end that love is the only thing that will stand the test of time. Everything else that seems big, stressful and important right now will fade in to the past. But those moments and the love God will show you through your children will last forever. You are both loved more than you know. I pray that God will bless you both with uneventful and pampered pregnancies and beautiful healthy babys' ..... babies that sleep through the night 8 solid hours and only cry when wet or hungry... can't hurt to ask, right?

And seriously, wear sunscreen. ;)
