You HAVE to go to cakewrecks.com and check out the divorce cakes! I don't generally find anything funny about divorce, but I'll make an exception for these! The one with the groom's feet sticking out from underneath the upside down cake "Wizard of OZ" style is priceless! The garbage one is hand's down my favorite, though.

edited to add... I just realized that Saturday was Jesse and I's 11 year anniversary because the cakewreck lady celebrated HER anniversary the same day. Kind of strange that's the day she chose to do the divorce cakes.
Anyway, we aren't big anniversary people so it's not unusual that we forgot. We forgot our 10 year until September 29... on that day I glanced at the calender and said, Hey Jess, I think it's our 10 year anniversary today and He said, Um, hon, I am pretty sure we where married in August. LOL
We are doing something big for 20 though! Maybe the barefoot on the beach vow renewal and an engagement ring. Only 9 more years to save money and get in shape for the white sundress! Better get on it.

Going Ons...
I can't believe it's been a month since I posted last! This month was a blur! Let's see....
Trin turned 5, our goddaughter, Gracie, turned 1, Sylver has another loose tooth, Talyn is obsessed with Fallout 3, Ari is recovering from a header out of her highchair complete with a black eye, Jesse went to a Wheezer/Blink182 concert with Kyle, I am knee deep in planning Cori's baby shower, Jesse is knee deep in changing careers (transition is scary and sucks), I am gearing up for our school year to begin, and to finish off the month I am on my 4th day of a really nasty "summer cold". Tired just reading it aren't you?!
Our fall itinerary, so far, ...Our school year begins, my Gram comes for a visit at the end of September until October 22nd, mom will be visiting at the beginning and end of Gram's trip and then Toad (my sister, Angel) comes for a visit in time for Halloween.... There MIGHT be a baby shower sometime in the fall....Sorry Cori, no hints!

Talyn Learns Irony and Ari learns a new skill....
My family is once again all under one roof! Ariya was absolutely delighted to see Talyn and Sylver! It was so incredibly sweet- she smiled, squealed and ran to them. Of course they are all now irritating each other, just like normal.
Ariya is my little helper. She toddled over to the open dishwasher today while I was putting dishes away and took two spoons out. She then toddled over to the open silverware drawer and while teetering on her tip toes, put them in! She also took a gift bag to the trashcan yesterday! She couldn't open it (it's a step on lid) so she stood there and screeched at me until I did it. I may have finally gotten a neat freak child! Woot Woot!!
And one more "remembory" from Talyn before I go fall in to bed. Last night he asked me to kill a daddy long legger that had taken up residence in the kitten room. I grabbed a random book and went to take care of the little interloper and then his buddy in the other corner. I put the book down and started to tidy up the room. About 20 seconds later Talyn says,
"Mom, That's not right."
I look up and wrinkle my forehead at him, "What??"
"You just killed those spiders with "Charlotte's Web""
